Over the last few months, other projects
(and just plain old life) have consumed most of
my spare time..hence the lack of postings.
I haven't even purchased any new dollies or dollhouse items in ages!
Despite all that, a few months ago I
began making bedding for all of the naked
dollhouse beds in the neighborhood.
I used vintage materials throughout. The mattresses
are cotton batting, covered with old mattress ticking and
a "sheet" made of thin linen.
Pillows and blankets are part of an old quilt top.

I am so impressed that you kept the integrity of the furniture by using aged material, and you even put fringe in the pillows, very nice!
Love the bedding. Using vintage fabrics is always a nice touch! :)
You have inspired me! My doll beds are bare and I've been thinking how should I go about it. Gosh, you have such an eye for detail Rick. Thank you.
Great bedding, Rick! But how long will it last with the kids and dogs jumping on it?! ;-)
All of them are great, but my favorite is the red blanket the puppy is standing on.
Very tasteful! I must say.
Come check out my latest blog buddy, soon CM
