For the next few posts, I'd thought I'd focus on my
(small) collection of Schoenhut houses.
Technically, this little building isn't a dollhouse,
but fits well amongst my other little houses.
And I do mean little...it's just
6" X 9", so nothing really fits inside!
It was made sometime during the late teens
and into the early 20's. The exterior "brick"
pattern is embossed cardboard, as is the roof.
|Little Mr. Caco, who is less than 4" high, is too tall to get through the door||!|
|It's nice to have glass windows in the back so the Ticket Agent can look out.|
|The roof can be removed for play.|
The chimney is missing, as well as the
"Ticket Office" sign that would have been attached
along the roof line.
Coming up next time: Another tiny Schoenhut dollhouse!
