While wandering through a local
antique store today,
I came upon this
huge handmade dollhouse....
It was quite a surprise since I've
never seen a house like this for
sale locally.
Notice how thick the front walls are! It even
had a few pieces of handmade furniture included.
The asking price?? Only $1000!
And in case you're wondering,
NO, it didn't come home with me!

Wow, very cool house! I wonder why the walls are so thick? $1,000 seems a little steep to me. One came up for sale in my home town recently on Craigs List of all places. They are asking $400 - my wife said "no" :( Maybe I will post the pics of it on my blog and see if I can help find it a good home.
Troy, this house looked to be made from odds and ends of scrap wood which is probably why the walls were so thick. I agree, the asking price was very high! I'd like to see the one that you came across on Graig's list...I never think to look there for doll houses!
