As I was rummaging about in the archives today,
I came across this 3" X 4.5" 19th century card which
I thought was lost!
It's a rather unassuming looking flat card...
...until it's opened,
and it becomes this
amazing little 3-D scene.
The detail is wonderful for
such a a small thing. It has
a tiny fold-out bracket to
support the back room.
And even though there
are a few scraps missing,
it's held up well over the years.
(Loosely translated, I believe
"Meinen Gluckwunsch" means
My Good Wishes)
